Our Project - Eco-City
An Eco-City is an ecologically healthy city. The World Bank defines Eco-Cities as “cities that enhance the well-being of citizens and society through integrated urban planning and management that harness the benefits of ecological systems and protect and nurture these assets for future generations”.
Our role is significant with our government accelerator program that usually forms the first level of networking between private businesses and government bodies. Often, way before any Ideas have been realized, Skyhigh.vip will play an important role in gathering relevant business information and feedback.
Caidian Eco-City
The Caidian Eco-city is part of a Franco-Chinese context, a unique development of French expertise in the field of sustainable urban development and an application of exemplary development strategies in a Chinese city. To be developed in a city of about 500,000 inhabitants located in the Chinese metropolis of Wuhan in central China, this project aims to apply French knowledge and expertise in the field of sustainable urban development to a fast-developing Chinese city.
This is a major step for the French in developing an Eco-City. However they still lack the language and cultural knowledge to get the business into motion and to convince the local Chinese with regard to this City. Therefore Skyhigh.Vip was appointed as one of the mediators in late 2016 to help the Chinese governmental bodies and Chinese businesses coordinate with the French.
Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City
Founded in July 2009, the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City is a 50-50 joint venture between a Chinese Consortium led by Tianjin TEDA Investment Holding Co., Ltd and a Singapore Consortium led by the Keppel Group. SSTEC is committed to building a sustainable Eco-City that is ecologically friendly, socially harmonious and resource efficient. Its role includes the development of infrastructure, residential, industrial and commercial properties.
The term Eco-city was still a very new buzz word during it’s infancy stage and the SSTEC therefore relied heavily on external contractors such as Skyhigh.Vip amidst other sources to help implement the term “Eco-City”, a city that enhances the well-being of citizens and society through integrated urban planning and management strategies that harness the benefits of sustainable ecological systems and protect and nurture these assets for future generations.
Bouregreg Valley
The Bouregreg Valley constitutes the key element of the urban development project for the Moroccan capital. Starting at the port and the surrounding districts, it extends to the south to bring together, over time, the twin cities of Rabat and Salé. The “Bouregreg ZP4” district will form the south entry to the site. The project aims to raise the level of public spaces, streets and ground floors above the flood stage of the site.
A feasibility study was undertaken by Skyhigh.Vip and several international developers to find the best possible way to build around a central landscaped space and provide continuity between the river and the existing residential area while promoting the local biodiversity.
